Added Class for a Special Person October 8, 2010

Kelley Rudy who is a student in Troy Ohio has been trying to come to one of my classes on Sunday for quite some time. It is impossible for her to come because she teaches at her church every Sunday and does not want to disappoint anyone by taking time off. I thought long and hard and agreed to teach her on my off day. The biggest problem I had was that I could not get the room I normally rent and I would have to teach her from my home. This is a no, no for me as far as teaching. I made the exception and it was well worth it. Kelley was a wonderful student and was appreciative of the exception.

We had a great training day, we started at 8:30 am and continued until 5:30 pm Kelley invited her sister to be a model later in the day. She did an excellent job putting extensions on. No fear, never thought once she couldn't do it, always positive, always wanting me to make absolutely sure that every extension she put on was perfect. A great student, a great young woman.

September 29, 2010 NovaLash Certification Class

OK! Here it is. These two women have got it going on, and I will tell you why.

Susan Kehlenbrink has a huge office in Indianapolis called Skin Care By Susan. She does it all. Skincare, Permanent make-up (I do that also.) now one more thing to add to her bag of tricks to make a lot more money NovaLash Eyelash Extensions. This makes her practice complete. She did a fabulous job during her training. She took to it like fish (I have one of those too) take to water. What can I say, to some it's just natural. Katie Ross she is another Natural at putting on lashes. Katie works for Macy's Youngstown Ohio.

I already trained Becca earlier in the year from Macy's. She has made such a name for herself there at Macy's doing lash extensions that there is not enough hours in the day for her to keep up with their clientele.

So of course they had to send Katie to me to be trained because they knew that NovaLash Training just didn't get any better than me.

Katie was an excellent student, she caught on, she was able to do what ever was necessary. Katie is going to be a pro just like Becca.

Macy's of course will continue to make a whole lot more money and of course the girls will too. I only hope they appreciate the talent they have working for them.

This class was a fun and easy class to teach. To all of you I wish the best. Live your dream. Spend your money with reckless abandon, because the money will always be there for you.

WHY I am almost 3 months behind on my NovaLash Postings

Shame on me. I said, I would never let this happen. But as you all know NEVER SAY NEVER.

The summer has offered so much for me this year. I cannot begin to tell you how I needed this extra time for me. This year I took Fridays off and spent time with my friends at our pool. We ate a lot, drank a lot, soaked up a lot of sun, talked a lot but most of all I was able to spend time with me. Re-acquainting myself with me. Loving everything the Universe had to offer and accepting all the tribulations as gifts and learning how to open them and make them work for me.

Living in the NOW only.

I was able to study for 5 1/2 days with a different Shaman this year on Daufuskie Island SC. The training unbelieveable the Island magnificant but oh so sad. For those of you interested please read about this island. I was able to spend a couple of hours each day by myself at the beautiful and lonely beach. I never once saw another human being there. Every day that I was there I saw 20-30 dolphins swim right up to the shore line and perform, it was is if they knew the reason I was there. I believe they also knew I would return. When I arrived home I knew I was different and a much better person (if that's possible)

I also went to Southfield Michigan to complete the last of my Reiki Training.

I was able to visit this summer with a friend of mine and spend valuable time visiting, drinking lots of wine and walking the beach with her, loving every second of it. (might have done some shopping)

My husband and I went away for a few days to a place he loves (a secret) and came back rejuvinated and more connected.

There is probably much more to tell and I probably have shared too much already, but I know those of you who like to read my BLOG always ask what going on with me personally. So this is just a little catch-up.

Yes I still love my PRINCE and I believe he tried to contact me when I was away but I had little or no phone reception where I was staying on Daufuskie Island.

My plans for the winter are very few. I have a Shamanic Training class every Wednesday evening. I am working on a new WEB-SITE I hope to have up and running the first of next year. So far it look Unbelieveable. It is so time consuming.

I will be teaching NovaLash classes. A whole lot more of you better sign up this year.

I will also be teaching REIKI I & II, Advanced REIKI, REIKI Master Classes, and Karona REIKI Master classes.

That's it except, its now time for me to put on my BLACK toe nail polish as I do each and every winter and the reason for that is I mourn for the loss of summer.

2010 is a NIKKI year!

What Are You Doing This Summer - Especially The Last Sunday Of Every Month

I don't care if you deserve a break, or want to be with your family or friends, go swimming or boating, to concerts or what ever else you do in the summer. For the most part it has been too HOT or Rainy to do anything.

The HEAT has probably damaged or interfered with your thought pattern. You should be here, in Cincinnati, with me, the last Sunday of every month, taking a NovaLash Eyelash Extension Class. Nice atmosphere, great training program, 8ceu's, good food and snacks, and the Most Gorgeous,Talented and the BEST EDUCATOR NovaLash has.

Do you have any idea how much money you are missing out on by not taking this class?-NOT ONLY THAT-there are women out there who are suffering because you are not there to make them look Fabulous.

I am warning you, the consequences will be relentless. There is no making up for lost time or money.

I know in September you will all want me. This has happened time and time again. And as usual, I will be there for all of you, making you the best extensionest out there-its just a shame you are all missing out on all that extra money.

My March Students Will Suffer

I apologize to my March NovaLash Training Class for just now getting this blog up. By now, you can imagine I forgot some of the little extras I like to write about concerning my students.
I can tell you this though. There were six in the class and they were so excited about putting on lashes (my choice) the class did not get over until 9:30 pm. They officially could leave at 6pm, but no they wanted to stay and finish with full sets.We ate left over pizza from lunch, munched on Pringels and O D'ed on M&M's. These women were talented, smart, and gorgeous. They tried to bleed my brain of lash knowledge until I had to tell them STOP! Go Home, LEAVE, Your children are starving.

This was the first time in all of my trainings where they wanted to take up residence.(For free, at that) We all had such great fun and they said it was the best class they had ever taken. I won't forget any of them.

The next day to my surprise(and it was a surprise-GO HOME ) one of the students stopped by my Condo, 17th floor (just happened to be in the neighborhood again) to show me the set of lashes extensions she put on her sister when she got back to the Hotel last night. She was excited and knew she did a fantastic job and wanted me to tell her that----and I did. They were done beautifully.

I want to congratulate all of the women for doing above and beyond what was expected in the class. ( I really think they were all anal, A D D- adhd, pqs hml and more)

HereYe! Here Ye! This BLOG Is All About ME!

No-None-Nada- NovaLash class in April. This is the first time since 2005 I did not schedule a training class.

I needed a well deserved vacation this year. I have not only been busy with my NovaLash business, but I have been studying and practicing Reilki for the past few years and am now a Usui Reiki Master and a Karona Reiki Master.

I have also been studying to be a Shaman practitioner. It will probably be at least two years, maybe more, before I am ready to start my own Healing Practice.

And no, I will not be giving up the eyelash business.

September 1, 2009 I was ordained, Reverend Karlene M. Krista Shearer as a non-denominational clergy in the State of Ohio. I now have the authority to perform all religious services and rites, including baptism and marriages, as permitted by law.

So, you can see, I have been a very busy woman and a great one as well.

My husband Kurt (whom I love to death) and I went on a two week cruise to the West Indies.
It was different than most of my 51 cruises (yes 51) because the ship was very small, 750 people including crew. We were able to go to ports that we have not been to for a long time, because of the size of the ship. We spend a lot more time on some of the Islands especially at the beautiful beaches. I was also spoiled because a couple of the islands were French and I was able to buy a few fabulous things that I could not live without, could not.(surely you know what that feels like) Some evenings were quiet, and some were all nighters, dancing at the disco and playing at the casino. I believe we enjoyed every second of one another. Just us and the magnificent ocean. For me, it was very spiritual and I felt like I was the luckiest person on earth to be able to have all of that for myself and also to have a friend, lover, husband to share this with.

My life is good.

Being home the first 24 hours brought me back to reality and my very busy life. I am now designing a new web-site for a new business adventure. For those of you who have done this, you know that this is very time consuming and very, very, tedious work. The name of the web-site is Divine Timing and I love that name because that is how and why it got started. When the site is up and running it will be http://www.mydivinetiming.com/ . I will keep you posted on the progress I am making. I do know the front page will be up and running soon but that's about it.

This summer I took Fridays off so that I could spend more time at the pool and be wih my friends, it was a trade for working one night during the week until 10:30pm. I would have done anything to get that extra day off.

In August, we will be going somewhere for a few days to celebrate my husbands birthday, we do this every year and have great fun. In late September I will be going to Hilton Head to spend time with a friend, we walk the beaches, drink lots of good wine, talk, eat and just enjoy one an others company. In October, I will be away for a few more days for training. The last week in November Kurt and I plan to go Christmas Shopping in New York and we will celebrate our Christmas there.

That's my line up for the rest of the year, not counting weekly classes to attend, friends over, dinner parties, and special events. I told you my life is good.

Take time for for yourself, give back to yourself, manifest what you want and it will be given to you. That the law of the Universe. I promise.

A THIEF-You Gotta Read This

Remember the two Nikki's last month? Well! One of them, and I won't say which one-except she does not live in Cincinnati-FLAT OUT STOLE MY VIDEO from my Lush Eyelash Extension's WEB-SITE. The way I found out and it's really a long story, but not a boring story, that I will share parts with you.-A BIG WIG from the greatest eyelash company on this planet NovaLash, called me and said, she saw my video on someone Else's web-site. I was out of town at the time and was not able to take care of it, so NovaLash intervened and was able to find out who this person was. Can you believe I trained this person? NovaLash contacted her and said to cease and desist immediately. When I arrived home, I checked out the thief's web-site and don't you know that this WENCH was still running my video as her own. I called her, she said in a oh so happy voice, Hi Karlene, how are you? I was very calm and asked her why she was still running my video and what gave her the right to use it without asking me. She said,(with an attitude)"I don't need your permission for anything, I can take what ever I want off the Internet and use it and it was staying there." I said a lot,+_##**, but finally told her if she did not have my video off her web-site in 24 hours my attorney would be contacting her, I would pull her NovaLash Certification because we do not want people like her to represent us, and then as a BONUS, I would come to her house, break her arms off her body, and beat her to death with them. And, if she thought I was was kidding-PUSH MY BUTTON

Needless to say, she called me back in 20 minutes and said," I took it off," I then told her, I wanted her to send NovaLash and ME a written apology. She did, through e mail. It was short, lame and unprofessional, BUT we did receive it.

The funny thing is, she has two other lash companies' video's on her web-site who happen to be competitors and she is advertising for them on her NovaLash web-site. OMG

It's a good thing she can put on lashes extensions, because other than that, she really doesn't have a clue.

Thank you NovaLash for being so observant.

I was a cop for 23 years and most people at that time left a real bad taste in my mouth. After I retired for a few years I kinda mellowed, just kinda-and she brought back some of those old feelings and I allowed myself to be put in a position that I was rude and unkind. Since this has happened I made a final contact with her and apologized not for what I said, but the way I said it. The End.

NIKKI, NIKKE, OH NIKKIE

Two, two Nikkie's but not for the price of one. They each brought their own monies to the table(and I love that).These two fabulous beauties signed up for the January 21, 2010 NovaLash Eyelash Extension Training Class. What are the chances that this could ever happen? These two girls, and you know they have to be brilliant to sign up for NovaLash DAHH! and of course have me as their instructor(a double BONUS). Girls with the same not so common name, on the same day want to learn how to master the art of lash extensions and make a great deal of money in the process.

Only two students signed up this month and they had my un-divided attention, as a matter of fact, they did so well, they both left with almost a full set of lashes each. They absolutely loved and were excited about every lash they put on each other. They also became friends and I was informed they are keeping in contact with one another by e mail almost every day. I love this job. (Actually, remember I am retired, this is not a real job-I do this because its great fun-ok-some extra spending money-well maybe quite a bit of money.) Enough about me, I sometimes get carried away writing the BLOG.

Nikkeve Campbell has a lucrative business as a make up artist to celebrities and entertainers and anyone else who wants to look like a million dollars. Looking for a way to give her clients just a little bit more of heaven she decided to become a certified NovaLash Extensionist.
