"NOVALASH" Is there any other company out there?

I am truly an educated woman loaded with talent and lots of brain power. Before I attempt any endeavor I research it with a passion. Having an Engineering Degree I realized the importance of PRODUCT and hands on training. I searched the market place and became shy of the company's out there until it came to NovaLash. It was a no brainer because this company was the very best at what they do. It never ceases to amaze me how many smart and talented women are in the beauty industry. These four women are the best of the best. Our ten hour training day when quickly. The class is usually eight hours, but these eager women could not absorbed enough, they were like vultures and picked my brain until I made them all go home.(kidding) I was truly impressed when Cindy from New York came to Cincinnati because she was told I was the best educator NovaLash had. John took a one-on -one class with me and roared. Not only is he cute and right out of GQ Magazine, he did it all right. He has definitely got a niche for putting on lash extensions. He went through the training like he had been doing this for a long time. John is talented and creative. His model looked like she walked right out of the pages of Vogue, her eyes looked that fabulous.

These 4 Girls Were Hot and Talented

The girls that were Certified today by NovaLash had it going on. They were smart, pretty and oh so talented. When we came to the hands on part of the training they were the best ever. All of the girls did a fantastic job, the art of putting on lashes came as easy to them as drinking water.Tomorrow they will start making money. Congratulations to all.

Traci Stamper is smart, and great at putting on lashes. Traci is opening her own Salon in January. The name of the Salon is Five 2. Nicole DeSalle is a colorist for Casal's I have trained a few others from Casal's salon & spa. This company must be great to work for, they spare no expense training their employees wanting only the best for them. Nicole did a fabulous job putting on the extensions-piece of cake for her,she was motivated and ready to start doing lashes immediately.

Tia Makosky is a makeup artist and also does waxing for Casal's, talk about cute, this girl has it all. Tia was probably the most excited of the four, her bubbly personality shines through all that she does. Tia also was put on lashes like she had been doing them a long time.

I wish all of you the best life has to offer, live in the NOW and make a whole lot of money.

Back to Minnesota to NSR but No PRINCE

Prince was not there to greet me once again, but I am not too disappointed because one day I know he will surprise me and show up. He actually could have been there because as usual my flight was two hours late. Now better stuff.
Eight more great women signed up to be Certified NovaLash Extensionist. The class was held at National Salon Resources one of the best company there is to work for. Reason being they hired me. The ladies did an excellent job in the training class, they are all motivated, excited and anxious to start making more money and also making more women out there look fabulous and sexy with their new lash extensions. Two More Great Women Now Making More Money

Mariam Rizkallah from Casals Spa in Warren Ohio got NovaLash Certified on June 22,2008

Stacie Fowlkes from Sharon Grove Ky. also got NovaLash certified on the same day.

Stacie and I had a few things in common. First, our love for horses. Stacie shows , trains, and arranges RODEO'S for different horse show organizations . That is so cool it had to be mentioned.

Shame On Me Again

I promised I would keep current but I have not. Many things have happened over the past few months and I will share with you just the highlights. (if I can remember)

I received a call from a girl who had seen my work and ask if I would put some lashes on her and her mom for her wedding. Idid, they both looked fabulous and I am still doing them. It was GEORGE CLOONEY's cousin and is aunt. I am not putting their names down because I didn't ask. He was at the wedding in Augusta Kentucky. They stayed in Italy for 3 weeks spending time at his Italian Villa. She did tell me when she came back for her first touch up, that if you go out his back yard and go up the hill you will be in Switzerland. I thought that was so cool. The cousin client also gave me a copy of the CD of the song she wrote and sang to her husband at the wedding.

I was one of the chosen few NovaLash picked to go to LasVegas and sit in on meetings and advanced training and updates. It was great fun and I loved the fact that this company NovaLash spares no expense.

This is a BIGGIE while in LasVegas I won enough on the slots to buy a pair of Christian Louboutin Shoes--can you believe it. I have spent my adult life wanting these shoes. My life is good.

I tried to take Monday's and Friday's off this summer so I could lay and play at the pool.

I took my husband to Caesar's Palace in Indiana for his birthday in August for the weekend. I wined and dined him. (I do love him so) Yes, we did win more money. (it sounds like we are gamblers but we only do this once or twice a year.)

I got permanent make-up on my lips, eyes and eyebrows, it all looks great.

I have been to a few fabulous party's this summer. I did not wear my Christin Louboutin shoes, all I do for now, is look at them.

I made a lot of money so far this year doing lashes. I love it. Life is good.

National Salon Resource asked me to train in August and September. That makes me happy. Another chance maybe to see PRINCE.

That's about it, This is probably all you want to read about my greatness.

PS the sides and back of my hair I am going to make brilliant purple in September. I will attach a photo when I do it. I made it fire engine red in April and it was just OK---NOT.

Today, ( I am on it) on May 25,2008 two more great ladies became Certified NovaLash Eyelash Extensionist. Boy are they good at it. Nine hours of training and you would have thought they had been putting on extensions for a long time. Both women possessed all the skill they needed to start making money in the morning.

Two More NovaLash Graduates in March

I said I would not get behind again in my posting but never say never.

Anissa Belanger is the owner of Bijou Aesthetic Studio on 507 West 3rd Ave in Columbus, Ohio. Anissa was a wonderful student with a lot of initiative and creativity. I'm Back and Back Again!

My two week cruise with my husband was fabulous,we did everything we wanted to do and more. Plenty of sun, lots of eating and dancing into the morning hours. Life doesn't get any better than this. I was home for a week and it was quite hectic. I had to play catch up with all my wonderful clients.
Then on May 9th I left for Hilton Head for a week to visit with a friend who moved there after retirement. Great fun and great sun. My life is good-did I already tell you that?

Now it's back to reality except for a few more trips this summer. I will keep you informed.

About Me Again

Hello everyone, I am leaving on a much needed vacation. April 6th Thur 22nd. I know you are all jealous but too bad. I will be cruising with my husband on the Norwegian Jewel. We celebrate our Anniversary on a cruise ship every year because we were married on a Cruise Ship April 14, 1996. For us these are the best vacations.
I have been cruising since the 70's, this is my 43rd.cruise. It's true, I would live on a ship if I could. Well, I just wanted to tell you a little bit of what's going on with me. I will keep you posted.

PJ Did It

Paula J. Icard also, had one-on-one training March 17. Paula has a salon in her home and wanted to offer a little more pizazz to her clients. Once they see what they are missing out one she will be working an 80 hour week. There are no other eyelash extensionist in Deer Park where she lives. Good Luck and keep them all beautiful.

Another Extensionist for Columbus Ohio

Bianca Beckley came from Columbus, Ohio to Cincinnati, Ohio for a one-on-one training session ( yes I do those for those you can't make the regular class date). Bianca did an excellent job and is very passionate about what she does. The moment she received her Certification as Eyelash Extensionist, she was anxious to get home. She had quite a few women waiting on her for lashes. From what I saw Bianca will be quite the entrepreneur soon.

There Is A good Reason PRINCE Did Not Show

OK, when I arrived in Minnesota on March 24, to teach another wonderful class for National Salon Resource's Prince was not there waiting my arrival. Understood. When I bought a small bag of M&M's for $400.00 at the airport I noticed in one of the magazines that PRINCE was having a hip-replacement surgery. You know I was not happy to read that but it was rewarding to know that he ages just like the rest of us.
I am not giving up on PRINCE ever, I will continue to let him know when I will be teaching in Minnesota and maybe one day my PRINCE will come.

Lisa picked me up with her cute husband at the airport, ( the great gorgeous girl that hired me to teach) and we all went to the best Italian Restaurant ( I forgot the name) but we go there because Lisa's know it's my favorite. We chatted for awhile, I drank a few glasses of wine and they dropped me off at the hotel.

The next morning I was picked up early and the day began. Two girls signed up for the class and they did an excellent job. Both girl's pretty, smart and talented.

After class, Lisa took me to her new Salon called VIVID. Absolutely beautiful, it is a salon and has 6 tanning beds. There is also a place for doing eyelash extensions done of course by Minnesota's best Lisa Soundra, my friend. After that wonderful experience Lisa dropped me off at the airport where, I was almost stripped searched and detained for no reason except that I fit someones profile. Then by the time I got to the gate the line was forming only to wait another hour and a half because too many pilots showed up and it was a Union thing and a third party had to settle it. I offered, but NOOOOOOO, I was told to get back in line with the rest. I tried to do my good deed for the day but they did not want any part of it. Finally, I arrived home almost two hours late my husband anxiously awaiting my arrival with open arms. That's all I am going to share.

February 17, 2008 we added two more great women as Certified Lash Extensionist to the NovaLash family. Both were excellant in the training class. I requested information from both women about their Salon's so I could add it to this BLOG.

That is pretty much all I can tell you except Joyce is passionate about all that she does. She called me last week and wanted me to put Lash Extensions on her and I did. She said"if I want to sell them, and apply them, I have to show them how georgeous they when applied." She looked absolutely HOT, over the top, fantastic and she knew it. She called three times the next week and told me how much she loved them and was already addicted to them. I am very happy for her, and her new success.

It's Emily, I took your class on Feb. 17th. Sorry it has taken me so long to e-mail you, I have been very busy and was just sitting here thinking about you because I have been recieveing TONS of great feedback from the lash extensions and just scheduled 3 new appointments today! I will keep in touch with you, I am keeping track of all my clients and their before/after photos --hopefully I can get on the NovaLash site! OK, This is my third trip to Minnesota, surely PRINCE will meet me at the airport this time. The last two times I was there I left messages for him. Apparently, his assistant failed to give them to him. I am not your average fan. I own every PRINCE CD, record, DVD ever made I think PRINCE is the greatest musician, artist of all times ever. PRINCE be there at the airport if at all possible.

I know how busy you are and if you can't make it just call and leave me a message and maybe we can hook up next time.

Milwaukee Bound-Quick In Quick Out

I arrived in Milwaukee the evening of February 2nd and taught a class for National Salon Resource's on Eyelash Extensions (the thing I do best)February 3rd and was home that same evening in Cincinnati, Ohio. Super Bowl Sunday - Can you believe the most important Sunday of the year I was traveling? When I arrived home, I was able to see the last 10 minutes and as you know that was a grand finale. Not so grand for me though, my team lost and I was devastated, I almost wished I'd missed the entire game. I missed two parties and the after Super Bowl party because I was too tired and too bummed out to go to. I forgot this is not about me.
Sorry for the rambling, I need to talk about the energetic people I trained in Milwaukee. They were a great group, all eager to learn, all eager to make money and be recognized in the eyelash business. We all know that if you are good there is money to be made. This group was exceptional; one of best was Andy Varney. I don't like to single out my students but every now and then someone comes along that is just a natural at doing lashes (like myself)Andy did more than very good, he moved along like he had been doing this for a long time. Andy is one of five men that I have trained so far, I applaud them all for taking the plunge.

I don't mean to slight the women here; they could not have been more involved with the process or more excited about their results. I can tell you one thing for sure Milwaukee is in for a big change. When people find out how great these new Extensionists are, Katie Bar the Door, because their businesses will be out of control. Take a number and wait.
I would like to thank Yolanda the store manager of NSR for making me feel at home in Milwaukee.

Dorie's Story

Dorie owns a business in Blue Ash Ohio. The name of her business is BODY WAXING PLUS.
The first week of January a new client of mine, Janice went to Dorie's shop (she is a regular there) for a Brazilian Remove-all(that's already too much information). While Dorie was doing what she does best, she noticed Janice's eye and said," My what beautiful eyelashes you have," and Janice said," yes I know, I just got lash extension from Karlene, the best, the greatest, extensionist NovaLash has. Dorie said,OH MY GOD,I have to learn how to do this and offer them in my shop, my client will go crazy over these.
Dorie was so excited with the way Janice's eye's looked she had all four girls working, stop what they were doing and come look at this masterpiece on Janice's face. The girls too got excited, they wanted them, they wanted to learn how to put them on. They begged and pleaded they all knew there was more money to be made. LOOK WHAT'S IN STORE FOR GREENVILLE KENTUCKY

Lahoma Austin, an entrepreneurial woman, just completed her Eyelash Extension Class and is Certified by NovaLash. Lahoma, in her town of Greenville is truly a BIG DEAL. She owns a Beauty Salon with 12 work stations and all are constantly busy. Next door to the salon she bought a house, renovated it and created a MEDI SPA that put her on the WHO's WHO list in her county. The SPA is over the top, it had everything to offer and more ------ except one thing EYELASH EXTENSIONS. Not any more, Lahoma's SPA is the only one offering this service in a 50 mile radius. Even if you did want to drive 50 miles you wouldn't find NovaLash there.

Lahoma is a natural at putting on lash extensions, she does an excellent job. There is only one problem, when the word get out and people see how fabulous they look, there will not be enough time in the day to supply the demand.

Just for the record I tried to tell her.

Guess What? More Traveling and Training for NSR

My good friend and boss Sandra from National Salon Resources called and ask me to train in Milwaukee Feb.3rd, 4th and Minnessota Feb. 24th, 25th. You know I said yes and yes again. I have never been to Milwaukee, so this will be quite a treat. I know I won't be able to actually see anything except the classroom and airport----but thats ok with me, at least I can say I have been to another one of our 50 states.Yea!

I am looking fowrard to all of my trips for training this year. You know I will keep you all posted as I go.

I plan on having more fun, teaching more students, making more money, meeting more people in 2008.

Lashes In The Air On Comair

My first student of the year in 2008. Antoinett Beatty-Gilbert is a flight attendant for Comair. She works about 80 hours a month and wanted to make some extra money on the side during layovers and on off days. Being the creative beautiful woman that she is, she found another job she would like to do, and knew she would be great at it------- APPLYING EYELASH EXTENSIONS. She did her homework, checked out all of the lash extension companies and when she read about NovaLash-the fact that we had won that coveted award for our adhesive in 2007, made the pick for training a no brainer.
She called, we takled, she came, I trained, she graduated and she is the best of the year. Antoinette became a Certified lash extensionist January 13, 2008.

Hamida, what a great lady and a wonderful student. She is from Egypt originally. Hamida came to this country five years ago. Her intention was to live the American dream and I can tell you she is on her way. Hamida has graduated from Cosmetology School and is intending on opening up a Spa and Salon in the Westchester area of Cincinnati Ohio. She has taught many others (including me)the art of THREADING ----look it up if you don't know what it is.She is very creative and wanted to offer more than most in her new SPA. Hamida came to me, (the Best) to learn how to put on eyelash extensions. She became Certified December 11, 2007.
